In a letter to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Ismail Haniyeh said that the Palestinian people as a result of their stormy intifada in the West Bank and Beit-ul-Moqaddas, will thwart US President Donald Trump's plot and their followers in the capitals all around the world against Palestine.
On December 6, Trump announced that he will relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Quds, as a step in recognizing the city as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel.
The decision has prompted strong criticisms from international community.
Haniyeh said that the decision was a step toward paving the way for some Arab states in the region to make allegiance to the Israeli Zionist regime and disarming the resistance.
He also stressed his 'strong faith' in the role of Iran's leader in steering the Islamic Republic power and its commanders to confront the plot on Quds.
Referring to the Riyadh conference and Trump's comments on Iran describing Hamas and Hezbollah as his enemies, the Palestinian leader said in his letter that Trump's malice has become more obvious through recent development and claims.
