14 Iranian works to go under the hammer at Van Ham

A total number of 14 artworks from Iranian modern and contemporary artists will go under the hammer at Van Ham auction house, founded by Carola van Ham in 1959 in Cologne.

The Persian artworks will go on sale in three categories, including discovery, postwar and contemporary, and in three sessions on May 29 and June 5 in Van Ham Art Auction in Cologne, ISNA reported.

The Iranian artists to be represented at the auction are: Asadollah Shariatpanahi, Ahmad Nasrollahi, Ane Mohammad Tatari, Shahram Karimi, Vahed Khakdan, Bahman Mohasses, Massoud Arabshahi, Farideh Lashai, and Reza Derakshani.

For six decades the Van Ham auction house has been considered a well-known cultural center in Cologne, Germany.

The international center holds about 16 auctions annually, classified in different categories and collections. Along with live auctions, it also offers an online sale opportunity on its website.
