Iran, Kuwait FMs call for constant consultations

Iran and Kuwait called for the continuation of consultations between the two neighboring countries.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Kuwaiti counterpart Ahmad Nasser al-Mohammad al-Sabah held a videoconference meeting on Monday as part of the top Iranian diplomat’s routine regional consultations.
The two foreign ministers discussed mutual interests, bilateral cooperation, and the latest regional and international developments.
Describing bilateral and multilateral cooperation among the regional countries as a basic and perpetual necessity, Zarif said the interaction between Tehran and Kuwait City could grow in various fields.
In a telephone conversation with Emir of Kuwait Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah in April, President Hassan Rouhani voiced Iran’s readiness for collective cooperation to ensure regional and international peace and stability and also to cope with the coronavirus in the current delicate situation.
