Iran’s ‘Inner Love’ goes to Italian festival’s finale

Iranian short film, ‘Inner Love,’ made it into the final stage of the eighth edition of Spi Stories Film Festival in Italy.

The social drama, written and directed by Ehsan Nasri, will vie for a €3,000 award at the eighth edition of the festival, ifilmtv.com wrote.

‘Inner Love’ is a musical short film with no dialogue. It tells the story of a labor child’s life who is kind, self-giving and loves life despite all of its difficulties.

Nasri’s film will make its debut screening at the Italian film event this year.

Spi Stories Film Festival is the annual competition of short films. This year, the topic of the competition is about poverty, lowering of incomes, unemployment, growing obstacles to access to good education and health care.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the eight edition of the festival will go virtual. The exact opening date of the event will be announced shortly.
