Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Monday that 133 more people died of the coronavirus from Sunday to Monday, bringing the total death toll to 20,776.
The spokeswoman added that 2,245 new positive cases were detected during the same period, putting the total number of infections at 361,150, IRNA reported.
Lari said 1,132 of the new cases have been admitted to hospitals.
At least 311,365 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, she said.
Lari noted that 3,848 patients are in critical condition and being treated in intensive care units, the spokeswoman said.
She also noted that more than 3,062,400 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.
Iran, the worst-hit country in the West Asia, has been battling to contain the novel coronavirus outbreak since announcing its first cases on February 19.
