The short animation was picked as the recipient of the Best Animation Film Award at the fifth edition of the American film event held on September 16-21, ifilmtv.com reported.
The festival features films, which inspire feelings of peace, love, acceptance, and tolerance toward children and families.
Directed by Mahdieh-Sadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, the film is about “a girl who is involved in the problems of her time and at the end she surrenders to the birds of her painting.”
The short film has already been screened at a number of international events, including the Heritales-International Heritage Film Festival in Portugal, Dytiatko International Children’s Media in Ukraine and the Five Continents Int’l Film Festival in Venezuela.
It was awarded at the Queen Palm International Film Festival in the US.
The animation was also nominated for the Special Award at the 2020 Religion Today Film Festival in Italy slated for September 23-30.
