The Iranian short film ‘E Like Elvis’, written and directed by Sepideh Mirhosseini, will take part in the sixth edition of Australia’s Colortape Film Festival to be held on December 4.
‘E Like Elvis’ has been selected to participate in the fest’s competition section as a nominee for the best short film award, IRNA reported.
The film narrates a little girl’s love and affection for famous American singer Elvis Presley. She does strange things in her childish imagination and world.
The cast includes Amir Zobdeh, Roza Danazadeh and Mohammad Sadra Banihashemi.
The event, which will be held in Brisbane, is a multicultural film festival promoting worldwide arts and culture through films, while bridging cultural differences, promoting friendship and showcasing the creative vision of filmmakers from across the world, according to festhome.com.
