COVID-19 claims 81 lives in Iran over 24 hours

She added, 6,471 new cases infected with the COVID-19 were identified over the past 24 hours, and 533 of them have been hospitalized, IRNA reported.

Noting that 1,311,810 Iranians have totally been confirmed infected with the fatal virus, Lari added, 1,101,599 of the patients have either recovered or been discharged from hospitals across the country.

Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers at present, 4,437 coronavirus patients are in critical condition, Lari noted

Since its outbreak, the COVID-19 pandemic has infected more than 92 million people across the world, and claimed about 1,980,000 lives.
