The head of the Hamas resistance movement’s political bureau once again condemned the US-brokered deals that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain signed last month to normalize ties with Israel, warning that history will show “no mercy” toward the Arab states that betrayed fellow Palestinians.
Iran exported $2.5 billion worth of non-oil commodities to its Arab trade partners during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020), announced the director general of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO)’s Office of Arabian and African Countries.
The value of Iran’s trade with its Arab trade partners in the region stood at about $22 billion in the past Iranian year (ending March 19), said the director general of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO)’s Office of Arabian and African Countries.
The United States intimidates Persian Gulf Arab countries to sell its weapons and create military bases in the region, said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that Iran enjoys brotherly and close ties with many of the Arab League members and has common concerns on many issues of the Islamic World, noting that Iran precisely monitors all developments of the Arab League.
Morocco’s Justice and Development Party has condemned attempts by a number of Arab states and Persian Gulf kingdoms to normalize diplomatic relations with the Israeli regime, describing them as “dwarfs who will be hurled into the dustbin of history.”
The Warsaw conference, organized by the US in the Polish capital on February 13-14, has outraged observers in the Arab world who believe their leaders attended the conference merely as “extras” in a preplanned scenario for normalization of Israeli-Arab ties.
