Iran to increase overflight fee discounts to 50%

Iran’s Ministry of Road and Urban Development has submitted a proposal to the government’s economic commission to increase the discount of the overflight fees up to 50% in a bid to regain the lost revenues after the coronavirus pandemic hit the sector.

75% rise in overflights of foreign aircraft

The number of foreign aircraft passing through Iranian airspace increased by 75 percent last month (November 22- December 21) compared with last year's corresponding figure, the deputy head for aeronautical operations at Iran Airports Company said on Monday.
