Institutionalizing the social concept of resistance is one of the functions of the 16th Resistance International Film Festival (RIFF) and, with the actions taken in this festival, resistance finds a broader meaning, said the Cinema Organization of Iran (COI) director, Hossein Entezami.
So far, 133 countries have participated in the international sections of the 16th Resistance International Film Festival (RIFF), said the head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the festival, Seyyed Ahad Mikaeilzadeh.
The 16th Resistance International Film Festival announced the winners of “Health Defenders” and “Festival of Festivals” sections at the closing ceremony of the festival attended by several high-ranking officials and cinematic figures.
