Body of killed female student found in Indiana, arrest made

Authorities in the United States are holding a man on preliminary murder charge in the death of 22-year-old Hanna N. Wilson from Fishers, Indiana.

Daniel Messel, was according to police, arrested on Friday, in link to the death of the Indiana University student, Press TV reported.

Wilson was found dead in rural area fatally beaten in the head with a weapon hours before she was reported missing.

On Saturday, Brown County Coroner Earl Piper told local media that, “Wilson died from blunt force trauma to the head.”

Piper also mentioned that preliminary results of an autopsy performed show she was struck several times in the back of the head with an unknown object.

So far, the motive of the incident has not been released by police, and whether, or not the victim and Daniel Messel, the man held in custody in association with her death, knew each other.

Hundreds of university students from her campus and other schools and areas across the state of Indiana have held vigils for the student as many are mourning her mysterious tragic death
