Iran Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) announced it will put on display items related to culture and art, especially stories from Shahnameh, an epic by Iranian poet Abolqasem Ferdowsi, in Buch Wien, known as the Vienna International Book Fair.

Iran's pavilion at the fair, which will spread over 12 square meters, will display books on history, Iranology, calligraphy, stories from Shahnameh (Book of Kings), Persian language courses, art, and landscape posters from Iran, Mehr News Agency reported.

This is for the third time that Iran is participating in Vienna International Book Fair.

Iran will also present books by 20 Iranian publishers, including more than 100 titles of children's books translated into French, German and English.

The book fair will run from November 12 to 15.

It is the greatest book and literature event in Austria held by the private sector. It displays books in categories such as fiction, cooking, non-fiction, travelogue and teens' books.

Buch Wien, which attracts more than 40,000 visitors annually, has also 300 events on the sidelines.
