The traditional foods, handicrafts and cultural products from various countries were among the goods put on display in the annual exhibition, held a few days before New Year.
A large number of Croatian visitors got acquainted with Iranian cuisines and their recipes and asked some questions about Iranian handicrafts.
The annual event, held by charity institutes, provides an opportunity for Croatian people to become familiar with culture, foods, handicrafts and music of various countries. This will also help consolidate friendship and cooperation among the countries participating in Zagreb Charity Fair.
Iran's Cultural Counselor in Zagreb Mojtaba Akrami said Islamic Revolution is a cultural revolution, adding Iran is actively engaged in helping the poor and needy of the world.
He thanked Iranian institutes and expats that played a significant role in introducing Iranian history and culture to the visitors of the exhibition.
The annual charity fair is traditionally organized by Zagreb's International Women's Club.
