Two Iranian documentaries have been accepted for screening in international film festivals.

The documentaries: 'Lay My Bed in the Room', by Amir Todeh Roosta, and 'Violinist', directed by Mohammad Ali Talebi, will take part in Festival Silhouette in Paris and Busan International Film Festival 2016 in South Korea, respectively, Mehr News Agency reported.

Festival Silhouette, which is to be held from August 26 to September 3, will feature 40 short fiction and animated movies. The Iranian film will be screened on August 26.

The crew of 'Lay My Bed in the Room', a product of The Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC), includes Parinaz Izadyar, Shadi Aramroudi and Mohammad Sadeqi.

Roosta's earlier production 'Draw' is currently on screen in Iran.

'Violinist', a documentary-fiction, will be screened on October 3 in Busan International Film Festival 2016. It recounts the story of a teenage boy on the streets of Tehran.

Art and Experience group of cinemas will screen the film once the necessary permits are obtained. Kianoush Shahbazinia is the sole actor in the documentary.
