Iran receives Spain's seven ton-cargo of medicine

The Director-General of Bazargan Customs said that six consignments of medicines, including Noradrenaline ampoule and Linezolid injection serum have recently arrived in the country from Spain, Iran Press reported.

Sadeq Namdar stated on Friday that the cargo entered Iran through the Sarisso border market in Mako. This was not possible without the border agreement between Iran and Turkey. He mentioned that the cargo weighing 7,430  has left for the Tehran as soon as it reached the country. The supply will be rendered to the medical department very soon.

The official added that after accepting, delivering, and performing customs procedures, the cargo went to Shahriar Customs of Tehran.

Namdar added that the cargo was being transported in two trucks and 45 pallets. The director-general of Bazargan customs stated that the value of these sent medical items is 495,840 Euros.

According to Namdar, the first shipment of medicines purchased from Germany entered the country through the Sarisso market a month ago weighing 26 tons.
