Over 1,200 works submitted to Resistance Int’l Film Festival

A total number of 1,260 artworks from Central America, South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Africa were submitted to the 16th Resistance International Film Festival in Tehran.

According to the secretariat of the event, 460 works from Asia, 280 works from Central and South America, 325 works from Europe and 90 others from Africa have so far been submitted, reported.

India submitted the highest number of works, with 248 works, subsequently Turkey, with 63, Brazil with 51, Spain with 33 films and Russia with 30 works.

The works received by the secretariat were registered in different sections of the festival.

The deadline for submitting the works for the International Section of the festival is July 30.

The 16th edition will be held in two sessions: The first session will be September 21-27, coinciding with the Sacred Defense Week; and the second session will be November 1-7, simultaneous with the Basij Week.
