The Fourth European Film Week will be held online from November 7 to 16 with screenings of 16 films online.

The event is co-organized by Art and Experience Cinema, European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the Hashure platform.‌

The European Film Week, which has been physically held in Iran for the past three editions, will be held online this year due to the spread of the coronavirus around the world.

In addition to screening of the films, review sessions and workshops will also be held online on the sidelines of the event.

European films from Italy, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and France will participate in the seven-day program.

Behzad Khorshidi, inspired by the painting, ‘The Starry Night,’ by the famous Vincent van Gogh, designed the poster for the film event.

Previously, three editions of European Film Week have been held in Iran by the Art and Experience Cinema and EUNIC in different Iranian cities. The third edition was held from June 8 to 17, 2019.
