Tehran Landscaping Organization will hold the 10th Tehran International Sculpture Symposium in March.
The symposium aims to promote Iran’s position in the art of sculpture in the region. Also, among its objectives is to revive Iran’s historical heritage in the field of sculpture and masonry, and to provide a space for interaction and dialogue in the field of urban sculpture art, ISNA reported.
The Tehran symposium is one of the major events held in the country in the domain of sculpture.
It also provides an opportunity to exchange experiences, information and skills of Iranian and international artists and experts.
In this round of the symposium, for the first time, a section has been dedicated to research in the field of sculpture and urban art.
Those interested in attending the event are required to submit their project until November 30.
Last year, 15 sculptors took part in the main section of the event, 10 artists in the student section, as well as 15 assistant sculptors.
