"On one autumn day, one of the scientific luminaries of Islamic Iran rolled in his blood. The martyrdom of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh will not stop the flourishing movement of Iranian scientists to achieve scientific independence and the peaks of knowledge," the statement reads.
"The Iranian animation cinema has censured the cowardly assassination of this man in the field of jihad and science. He would certainly depict the radiant image of the free heroes of this land," the statement added, irandocfest.ir reported.
Fakhrizadeh, who headed the Iranian Defense Ministry’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, was targeted on November 27 in a multi-pronged attack by suspected Israeli-tied terrorists.
