A two-day international webinar will be held from December 25-26 in Iran focusing on the consequences of the coronavirus outbreak on Persian language education and development.
Organized by the Sa’di Foundation and Allameh Tabataba’i University, the webinar will host 30 Persian language instructors to non-Persian speakers around the world, according to ISNA.
The head of Allameh Tabataba’i University, Hossein Salimi, the head of Sa’di Foundation, Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, and a number of literary figures will attend the virtual program.
The effects of the coronavirus on Persian language classes, the effects of the coronavirus on the educational planning system in the field of Persian language and literature, the effects of the coronavirus on the measurement of Persian language skills of foreign students, new methods and strategies of Persian language teaching in the coronavirus period, problems of Persian language learners in virtual learning, and solutions to solve them as well as efficient features, platforms and software for teaching Persian language to non-Persian speakers are among the subjects supposed to be discussed in the program.
