Iran, Serbia seeking to improve agricultural ties

Iranian Ambassador to Serbia Rashid Hassanpour in a meeting on Thursday with Serbian Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic discussed existing potentials in the two countries to boost mutual cooperation.

The two also discussed Iran-Serbia abundant capacities in various fields to expand bilateral relations and sign more agreements in the field of agriculture to serve Tehran-Belgrade interests, IRNA reported.

The Serbia minister elaborated on Belgrade’s capacities, progress, and comparative advantages in the agricultural and livestock sectors, and the efforts made in recent years to revive and expand cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian Ambassador to Serbia, stressed the significance of bilateral cooperation in boosting mutual relations, noting that the two capitals can complete each other in various economic sectors relying on their national capabilities and advantages.
