Performance artist Yaser Khaseb, head of theater troupe, ‘Crazy Body,’ will soon perform ‘Sky Wall’ on the walls of Tehran’s Azadi Tower.

According to ISNA, this play is the latest work of the international theater group and entails an anti-gravity idea.

He will perform the play in memory of, and respect for, the heroes and martyrs of the country.

The synopsis of the story reads: “A lonely general stood on the wall of the huge tower as a nightmare for the enemies.”

‎The upcoming show comprises several movement-based pieces rendering the art of flying movements on the wall ... in the sense that the various angles of the wall of the tower are the place of dramatic events with short conceptual narratives.”

Khaseb also created ‘Mysterious Gift’ in 2006, which he has staged in Iran, Europe and the US.

The show has been well-received at each performance, Khaseb said. “It is spontaneous and creates a fresh feeling … ‘Mysterious Gift’ is not a culture-specific performance. It can connect with an audience anywhere in the world.”

‘Mysterious Gift’ received the First Place Award at the 10th edition of THESPIS International Monodrama Festival in 2016 in Kiel, northern Germany.
