Iran to pay homage to mythologist Jalal Sattari

The prominent Iranologist, mythologist, writer and translator Jalal Sattari will be commemorated in an online meeting which will be held on March 9.

The meeting is organized by Research Center for Culture, Art and Communications and Research Institute of Cultural Heritage & Tourism, according to Mehr News Agency.

Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti, Mohammad Mirshokraei, Nematollah Fazeli, Seyed Ahmad Mohit Tabatabaei, Poopak Azimpour, Davood Fat’hali Beygi, Mohammad-Hossein Nasser-Bakht, Ardeshir Salehpour, Seyed Hashem Mousavi, and Afshin Naderi will present lectures at the meeting, which will be held online through the Skyroom platform.

Noted Iranian mythologist Sattari is a member of the French Legion of Honor for his dedication to the cause of culture during his 50-year career as cultural activist. He has written over 100 books on different subjects of literature, anthropology, mythology, and psychology.
