‘Track 143’ tells the story of a mother waiting for her son who has been missing in Operation ‘Valfajr’ (‘Dawn’) during the Iraqi-imposed war (1980-88).
After waiting for many years for her son to return, she finally receives his bones brought to her in a coffin instead. The film has taken part in several international festivals and garnered a number of awards as well.
