COVID-19 claims 74 lives in Iran over 24 hours

According to the Ministry’s spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari, during the past 24 hours, 7,290 newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were identified and 749 of them were hospitalized, IRNA reported.

She added that so far, 1,815,712 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,555,766 recovered.

Lari regretted that 3,865 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

She added, so far, some 12,284,847 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.

According to the latest analysis, 12 cities are classified as red zones, 39 as orange in Iran.
