Iranian ‘Domino’ wins at German Bremen festival

The Iranian film, ‘Domino,’ by Laleh Barzegar, won the Best Audience Award at the sixth edition of the Bremen Film Festival in Germany.

‘Domino’ narrates the story of a young girl named Yalda who is studying and working at the same time. She is trying to manage her busy life and solve her marital problems. But handling all the problems is harder than she thought, ifilmtv.com reported.

The cast of the film includes Sonia Sanjari, Keyvan Mohammadi, Arash Afif, Nasim Bahadori, Farrokh Mehr-Keivan and Mohammadreza Barzegar.

The film has previously participated in a number of international festivals including the 12th Sofia Menar Film Festival in Bulgaria.

According to the official website of the festival, “Generally, we understand ourselves as laboratory for innovation and a platform for spectators of film art”.
