Israel sought to prevent the international community from knowing about its crimes and cruel massacre of children in Gaza by striking an 11-story building in the city housing several international media offices, said an Iranian deputy culture minister.
Condemning Israel’s bombing of the building on Sunday, Mohammad Khodadi, the deputy culture minister for press affairs, added the Zionist regime’s biggest fear and weakness is that the world’s people know about its occupying nature, IRNA reported.
Thus, he said, by censoring the news and silencing voices, it does its best to prevent the world from hearing the sound of the Palestinian children’s cries.
On Saturday, in a blatant violation of international law, Israel launched airstrikes against Al-Jalaa tower, an 11-story building in Gaza, housing some 60 residential apartments and a number of offices including those of Al Jazeera Media Network and The Associated Press, destroying the building, aljazeera.com reported.
The true nature of the Zionist regime is occupation, aggression, racism and trespassing on human boundaries, Khodadi said, noting that Israel upholds no principles, does not conform to any regulations or rules, and is not committed to any international contract or organization, including the United Nations.
