The Veteran Artists Institute in Tehran will vaccinate its members over the age of 75 against the coronavirus.
This move is in line with the public medical centers in the capital to accelerate the speed of vaccinations in Tehran, IRNA wrote.
The artists could visit the center on May 18 to receive their vaccinations.
Necessary arrangements will also be made for the vaccination of artists under the age of 75, according to their age group schedule, which will be announced by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
According to the ministry, approximately 3.2 million coronavirus vaccines have been imported so far. A total of 1,713,648 individuals received the first dose of the vaccine, among which 342,950 persons have been also injected with the second dose.
The total number of injected vaccines in the country has reached 2,056,598 doses.
