Located at the southwest of Bandar Anzali and the Caspian Sea, this Lagoon span an area of 120 square kilometers and is the largest natural habitat of animals in Iran. The Lagoon water depth is around 2.5 meters in spring, but this varies according to the amount of rainfalls and drought duration.
Anzali Lagoon outstands among any other Iran’s Lagoons in terms of high humidity and rainfall due to its geographical location.
