President Rouhani launches major transportation projects

The national projects, inaugurated by the president via a videoconference, included construction of highways and sea ports, as well as road maintenance, and construction of sports halls, Tasnim News Agency reported.

They were implemented in the northern Province of Mazandaran and southwestern provinces of Fars and Bushehr with an investment of over 210 trillion rials.

In the past few months, the president has inaugurated major projects in different fields every week.

He said in May that the inaugurations every Thursday show well that the Iranian nation is powerful and that sanctions cannot hinder their path of development and progress.
