Serbia determined to develop cooperation with Iran

Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Darija Kisic Tepavcevic voiced Belgrade determination to expand cooperation with Tehran in all fields.

In a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Belgrade Rashid Hassanpour in Belgrade on Saturday, Tepavcevic praised Iran’s support for national sovereignty of other countries, reported.

"We do respect the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran where it defends the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of other countries," said the Serbian minister.

During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on the presence of Iranian skilled workers in the Serbian job market.

Earlier in July, Serbia’s Ambassador to Tehran Dragan Todorovic termed the relationship between Iran and Serbia "at its best state in history".

According to IRNA, he made the comment in a local meeting Qazvin Province Governor-General Hedayatollah Jamalipour, adding that Tehran and Belgrade are good friends, as they enjoy close ties.
