Miras Qasubayev made the statement in his meeting with Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Kazakhstan Ali-Akbar Talebi-Matin, adding that the Kazakh university has always been eager to expand ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields, IRNA reported.
Talebi-Matin expressed appreciation for the continuous cooperation of Iran and Kazakhstan, noting that in recent years the Iranian Embassy has had effective cooperation with the Kazakh academic organization.
He added that the Iranian Embassy is ready to delegate university instructors of Persian language to Kazakhstan.
The Iranian official said, “We believe that with serious will and the implementation of joint programs, both sides can make a serious change in the field of Persian language education in the region.”
Iran and Kazakhstan have several commonalities and great potentials to expand bilateral ties, he said.
The Kazakh scholar said, “The country’s youths have always been very interested in Persian language and literature, and we hope to increase the number of students in the department through active bilateral interactions.”
He added that since the establishment of the Iranology Chamber at the university, the faculty has always been interested and eager to develop its relations with Iran.
