Iran’s deputy minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said that the 15th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE) will be held this year with a theme-based approach.
The exhibition is slated to be held at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds from January 29 to February 1, 2022, according to IRNA.
Ali-Asghar Shalbafian added that the 14th edition of the exhibition, despite the coronavirus spread in the country, was held in Tehran in person from February 23 to 26, 2021, ISNA reported.
“The exhibition should be a meeting place for tourism stakeholders. Therefore, we accept any requirement to achieve this important goal. It might be to reduce the number of visitors, the number of booths or even reduce the visual appeal of the event,” the official noted.
The exhibition will be divided in two sections, the first of which will be two days for specialized visitors and B2B meetings and the next two days will be for public visit, Shalbafian added.
Speaking about holding a theme-based event, the official added that this edition of the expo will focus on agriculture, food, health, and marine tourism.
One of the important goals of participating in the exhibition is to exchange views, transfer experiences and create new topics for cooperation, as well as attracting audiences and experts.
