Iran’s President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi said economic stability, supporting domestic producers and securing people’s livelihoods are the main issues that must be focused on by the administration in passing the budget bill for the next Iranian year (to start March 21, 2022).
He made the remarks in an address to a meeting of the Government’s Economic Coordination Headquarters on Thursday, highlighting the extra care taken by the cabinet members and their seriousness in the process of approving the notes of the budget bill in their back-to-back meetings, IRNA reported.
Raeisi urged that in drafting the budget bill, the orientations and objectives must be in line with adhering to and implementing the guidelines by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, calling for reforming the national budget’s structure.
The president described interaction between the administration and Parliament and using comments and opinions by the country’s MPs, elites and economists as necessary in drafting and finalizing next year’s budget bill.
