A music album entitled, ‘Minim Pronics,’ featuring musical works of Kelariz Keshavarz, was released.

The album is inspired by the formal cyclical view of Keshavarz. In other words, the musical materials introduced in the early movements (miniatures) appear in various forms (deformed, shortened, expanded, and cut) in later miniatures, said the director of Petrikor Music Publishing Amin Sharifi, according to IRNA.

The album consists of 22 improvisational electronic miniatures in cyclical form.

Speaking about the album, Keshavarz said that improvisational electronic miniatures are the result of her loneliness from the winter of 2020 to the summer of 2021, due to the spread of the coronavirus.

She added, “In this album, electronic sounds and instruments of the flute family were used, which were performed by myself.”

Keshavarz noted that all 22 miniatures belong to one single piece, which is called ‘Minim Pronics’.

Born in 1989, Keshavarz is a flutist, composer and music researcher. Her focus is on playing the works of international contemporary composers, as well as the classical flute repertoire.

She was involved in the ‘Iranian New Waves’ project which is an anthology of Iranian music.

She has appeared with the Missouri Symphony, the Odyssey Chamber Series, the Tehran Symphony, the Tehran National Orchestra, the Tehran Philharmonic Orchestra, the Parsian Orchestra, the Nilper Orchestra, and the Camerata Orchestra. She has performed in Iran, Austria, Lebanon, and the United States.
