People must be the main pivot of the Iranian government’s plans to organize and revive the semi-closed and closed economic units, said the first vice president.

Elaborating on the issue in an address to a Monday meeting, Mohammad Mokhber added using people’s managerial capabilities, capitals and creativity must be the basis for the movement of reviving the semi-active and inactive economic units, IRNA reported.

He stressed that the secret to rescuing the country’s economy is the people’s greater presence and role in running the country, noting that the government’s resources are limited and even the public organizations fail to meet the society’s present need for reactivating the domestic production sector.

Mokhber said that to this end, economic organizations are required to, by promoting innovation and creativity, adopt modern financing methods through using people’s capabilities.

He added following the reactivation of the semi-closed and closed units, the turn will come for initiating the movement of reviving the economic units, the main owners of which are the people.

“We must not allow only a certain social class and part of the country to become the target of the great movement.”

Mokhber noted that the main target of efforts to activate domestic production, industry and the service sectors is to generate wealth for the people, as the sole way to rescue the country’s economy.

He listed using the country’s elites, NGOs and new technology-based firms (NTBFs) as well as defining financial interests for the sectors as necessary measures to this end, and the most important targets of the movement to reactivate domestic economic units.

Mokhber said the NGOs and NTBFs are required to act as the propeller engines of the movement through identifying semi-closed and closed units, providing consultations and redesigning the units’ activity models.
