Official calls for production of joint TV series in ECO region

Speaking at a meeting with cast members of the Iranian TV series, ‘Cavalry, the Little’ in Tehran on Sunday, Bakhti said the art of cinema is one of the closest ways for promoting peace and friendship among the nations of the ECO region, according to ecieco.org.

“Prominent and popular figures are the best goodwill ambassadors among ECO member countries,” added the head of the ECO Cultural Institute.

Announcing his full support for the production of the ‘Cavalry, the Little’ serries, Bakhti expressed hope that the production of the historical series would become exemplary for joint productions between ECO member states.

Speaking at the meeting, Mahtab Keramati, the producer of the Iranian TV series of ‘Cavalry, the Little,’ said, “Collaboration and co-production with filmmakers from ECO member countries is my ideal.”

Also at the meeting, Hooman Behmanesh, the director, as well as other cast members of the series talked about the historical series and expressed their views on how to cooperate with ECO member countries.

The Iranian TV series, ‘Cavalry, the Little,’ is now in the pre-production stage.
