A number of Iranian and German artists will display their artworks in a joint exhibit named “Artolog”.
The exhibition, focusing on Hafez and Goethe, is the eighth show that the group is holding in the city of Shiraz, southwestern province of Fars, IRNA reported.
The Artolog group has been launching displays in Iran and Germany for the last few years to promote cultural dialogue.
The show opened on Friday at Taropood Art Gallery in Shiraz, and will run until May 11, welcoming visitors from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 5 to 10 p.m.
The artworks on display include paintings, photos, sculptures, and video art.
The Iranian artists are Shahriar Asadi, Majid Aslami, Afshin Ariafar, Leila Shekari and Leila Aghdam, Shima Motallebi, Elaheh Bazaei, Asef Ebrahimi.
Volker Tenner, Helga Berg Dormans and the artist couple Ingrid and Knut Reinhardt are the German artists participating in the exhibition.
