‘Shaped’ exhibition underway in Tehran

A group art exhibition titled ‘Shaped’ is underway at Tehran’s Yafteh Gallery until June 10, said the curator of the exhibition.

Sina Asadi added that the exhibition focuses on everything that has been formed in and on Earth, according to IRNA.

The exhibition features 19 works by 19 artists, with different perspectives.

The participating artists are Farideh Lashaei, Alireza Asanloo, Negar Honarpisheh, Kazem Chalipa, Rana Farnood, Mostafa Dashti, and Farzin Rahneshin.

Asadi said that the exhibition is the first show in this gallery, adding that the gallery plans to host exhibitions which are research oriented.

The works on display are accompanied by two theoretical sections of Critics’ Opinions and Public Opinions, Asadi explained.

The gallery will host two other exhibitions and the findings of the total three shows will be published as a research project on the gallery’s website, he concluded.
