The Persian book ‘Hijab,’ written by Mehdi Mehrizi, was translated into English and is available in Indian book stores.
According to ISNA, the book was translated by Abolfazl Haqiri in 72 pages.
The English translation of the book was prepared under the framework of TOP plan initiated by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
The plan supports translation of Iranian books into other languages.
In this book, the writer analyzed the subject of “hijab and covering,” which are among the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, and reviewed the objections raised against it from various perspectives.
The book comprises a prelude and two chapters on prevalent misgivings about the subject of hijab.
