The latest figures published by China’s General Administration of Customs indicated that trade between Iran and China has increased by 18 percent to $6.472 billion in the first five months of 2022, while the figure was 5.481 billion dollars in the same period in 2021, IRNA reported.
China imported $3.192 billion worth of goods from Iran in the period, compared to $2.535 billion imports from Iran in the same period in 2021.
Also, China’s exports to Iran increased to $3.28 billion from January to April this year, showing an 11 percent growth compared to 2.95-billion-dollar imports last year.
