The 11th round of ‘Linguistic’ conferences will be held on the school of thought of Iran’s Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the Persian language.

The meeting will be held in the Arts Bureau in Tehran, and Iranian scholar Mohammad-Hassan Moqiseh will present a lecture during the conference, ILNA reported.

Iran’s Leader, who has been familiar with literature since he was a teenager, either by studying stories and novels, or by reading poems, has well understood the role of language in the dynamics and permanence of literary works. On the other hand, it is crystal clear that language has a political and international function and it can be considered one of the means for achieving political unity.

The conference will present a report of the Leader’s viewpoints, attempts and challenges on the protection and development of the Persian language, both inside and outside the country.

The meeting was supposed to be held on July 4, but was postponed due to sandstorms and high air pollution in Tehran.
