Iranian art gallery of Mojdeh is participating at Switzerland’s art event titled WopArt, with showcasing works of Ahad Qadiri, an Iranian artist from northwestern city of Tabriz.
According to IRNA, Qadiri’s works are all made by wood and paper on collage and painting techniques.
Born in 1987, he has created works by depicting the nostalgic signs of the 70s and 80s, with the approach of pop art and the distinctive signs of this style, which most closely evokes the mood of those days.
Qadiri, as the narrator of the collective mood of the people, offers small samples of the history of memories on wooden cubes presented in the form of installation.
WopArt was born in Lugano in 2016 in response to the need for professionals, enthusiasts and collectors, devoted to artworks on paper, to find a dedicated place which gathers all the innovations, latest trends and major artworks from this niche segment.
Swiss contemporary art fair devoted to artworks on paper was born in 2016 in Lugano. After the success of its online edition in 2020, WopArt returned to Lugano’s exposition center from November 19 to 21, 2021 with an exhibition titled, ‘Extra Time’, in an in-person format which welcomed collectors and art lovers.
From September 23 to 25, galleries in Lugano exhibit works on material and digital media.
