President Ebrahim Raeisi on Sunday warned that the Iranian government would seriously deal with those who seek to distrust economy.
“Any attempt to create despair to destabilize the country's economic system or distress the public opinion should be dealt with seriously,” Raeisi said at the 62nd the ordinary and extraordinary assembly of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), IRNA reported.
He noted that CBI plans must contribute to economic stability, investment security and support for production and employment.
The president also urged the CBI to help ease monetary and banking ties with other countries, and seriously pursue the removal of the country's economy from the monopoly of the dollar.
