A leading weaver of kilim (a flat-woven carpet or rug made in Iran, Turkey, Kurdistan, and neighboring areas) in Iran said that the largest kilim of the country has been woven in Namin County, in northwestern Ardebil Province.
The northwestern part of Iran has still remained relatively unknown to many travelers. Yet, the region has some of the most beautiful natural countrysides of the country. Thanks to the many natural resources such as springs, rivers, mountains and valleys, this part of Iran offers a lot to those who love to explore intact natural attractions.
The Iranian museum site of Shahar Yeri will open by the end of the Iranian year (ending March 20, 2021), said Nader Fallah, the director general of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Ardebil Province.
Ardebil province is situated in a mountainous region. Resting in an average altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, it is usually recorded as one of the coldest cities of Iran in winter. It is famous for its attractions in Medical Tourism but is basically known as the land of Heavenly Springs.
