IRNA- Iran’s exports to Armenia increased 15 percent in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-October 22), compared to the corresponding figure for the preceding year, announced an official with Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development stressed the full readiness of Iranian companies for developing transportation between Iran and Armenia, and creating a new transit corridor between Armenia and the Persian Gulf through Nurdouz village in East Azarbaijan.
The Iranian foreign minister lambasted the West for defending government action against riots in Europe and describing the same action in Iran as suppression, stressing that Iran won’t allow any party to jeopardize its national security.
Armenia is taking the most practical steps possible to deepen its partnership with Iran, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during an interview, addressing Iran’s statements made in support of Armenia’s territorial integrity.
Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peymanpak hosted a meeting with Armenia’s Deputy Economy Minister Narek Teryan in which the officials talked about a variety of areas for economic cooperation between the two countries.
