Iran is ready to expand cultural, handicrafts, and tourism ties with Italy, said Iranian Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali-Asghar Mounesan, in a meeting with the Italian ambassador to Iran.
The northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi exported $37.2 million worth of handicrafts since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020), said the head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization of Khorasan Razavi Province on Monday.
A sum of $40 million worth of handicrafts were exported from Tehran Province during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21), according to the deputy head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department of Tehran.
Iran is taking part as a special guest at the 523 Culture Art Festival at the 523 Cultural Industry Park in Hai’an in the east-central Chinese province of Jiangsu, presenting precious Persian handicrafts.
