Iranian veteran actor, stuntman Alireza Fat’hi laid to rest

Iran’s veteran actor and stuntman, Alireza Fat’hi, who died on Thursday due to a coronavirus infection, was laid to rest in the artists’ section of Behesht-e Zahra cemetery on Friday.

He was one of the previous directors of the Iranian Stuntmen Association, according to ISNA.

He started his career in special effects in the 1980s, and worked in films such as ‘Muhammad (PBUH): The Messenger of God,’ ‘Cyanide,’ ‘Bodyguard,’ ‘Suffocation,’ ‘Scandal,’ ‘Little Black Fish,’ ‘I Am Diego Maradona,’ ‘Aspirin,’ ‘Thirteen 59’ and Iranian TV series, ‘Sarbedaran’ (Head on Gallows’) and ‘Mokhtarnameh’.

Director of Iranian House of Cinema Manuchehr Shahsavari, the head of the Iranian Stuntmen Association, Majid Alizadeh, speaker of Iranian Stuntmen Association, Siamak Helmi, and many others participated in his funeral ceremony.
