Visual art expos underway in Tehran
A number of visual art exhibitions opened at Tehran galleries on Friday.


Silk Road Art Gallery is hosting a group photo expo titled 'For Photo'. Sadeq Tirafkan, Havar Amini, Pargol Inanlou, Mohsen Zare, Shahed Saffari, Shirin Fathi and Babak Kazemi are the artists whose photos are on view in the exposition which will continue until December 21, 2014, Mehr News Agency reported.

Seyhoun Art Gallery is playing host to a photo expo by Siva Shahbaz titled 'Bewildered in Five and Four and Six and Seven'.

The artist's photos are inspired by Omar Khayyam, the Iranian classis poet, depicting life after-death through documentary fine art photography.

The event will close on December 17.

Yahya Rooydel has showcased his paintings at Panjereh Gallery. His paintings include portray of ordinary people's faces.

The expo will run until December 12.

Shokouh Gallery is hosting an exhibition of Siavash Mazloumipour's paintings. He has featured 23 paintings at the exposition created using watercolor on canvas and paper and acrylic on canvas techniques depicting a semi-abstract atmosphere.

Mazloumipour has depicted Iran's scenery, people in market and street and customs and rituals of Iranian ethnic group's and nomads.

The event will continue until December 10.

Atbin Art Gallery is hosting a group painting and sculpture exhibition titled 'Few Scenes from Paradise'. Works by 36 artists are on display at the expo organized by Shakiba Parvaresh.

Among the artists are Amir Azar, Mohammad Ebrahimi, Abnous Alborz, Tahereh Fazeli, Mohsen Irani, Nazila Jahangir, Mostafa Mozafarian and Mona Rahim-Zadeh.

The exposition will continue until December 22.

Salar Jorjani has put his paintings on view in an exhibition titled 'Line Also Look' at Jorjani Art Gallery which will run through December 15.
